| Module content | History of art education as stipulated in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) is explored. Emphasis is placed on European and South African art movements. Important artists and artworks of these periods are emphasized and discussed in context. Evaluations and discussions of art exhibitions will take place, as well as the interpretation and analysis of artwork. |
